What we do
Physician Focused & Patient-Centric
Flexible Joint Ventures
PCD pursues a hybrid joint venture/de novo strategy and offers physicians an opportunity to participate in the equity of each dialysis center that it considers. Our physician partners may own up to 40% of a joint venture. It also offers its management services to nephrologists who wish to maintain 100% ownership but need a highly qualified team to lead it to operational and financial success.
Building Dialysis Facilities
The management team researches, analyzes, and evaluates various real estate sites for each project. Once a site is selected, PCM oversees its development and, ultimately, its Medicare Certification. The Management Team has been involved in the development of over 40 de novo dialysis centers, and PCM’s experience results in an efficient, cost-effective, and timely development of any dialysis center. PCM’s proprietary capital funding process and financing sources identify (through bidding processes) the best third-party lenders and the most favorable terms to fund each project.
Financial/Demographic Analysis: The PCM team begins its turnkey approach by performing a financial review and proprietary sensitivity analysis to evaluate the readiness of a project and to position the project/joint venture for success. This includes providing, among other things, demographic and zip code analyses, financial proformas and projections, and sensitivity analyses.
Navigating Regulatory Landscape
Our breadth of experience provides our partners with a deficiency-free, 100% success rate in center certification coupled with the hiring of highly qualified and educated staff that are in-serviced prior to the commencement of operations.
We give our physician partners the opportunity to share in the ownership of the real estate for each center that is developed.
Quality Care Program with Physician Autonomy
We specialize in the delivery of innovative, high-quality dialysis services and have developed state-of-the-art quality assurance programs that track patient and clinical metrics. These innovative programs are designed to allow on-site interventional nephrology to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and favorable outcomes.
Physicians will maintain principal responsibility for treating their patients. PCD simply requires that you, like all physicians on staff at PCD clinics, adhere to our medical staff bylaws.
